For over 30 years, I’ve had the privilege of serving as a pastor and chaplain, most of those years at White Rock Community Church. I first joined the church as Associate Pastor of Youth and Music, and then for more than two decades I’ve had the joy of leading the congregation as Lead Pastor. Before coming to White Rock, I ministered in Picture Butte, Alberta.  

All that said, I still sensed a longing.  There was still a disconnect between some of my Spiritual life, emotional and relational life.  

By God's gift of grace, I met some folks that helped me understand the invitation that God had for me.  I was faced with a decision to consent to Jesus' work within me.

My heart is deeply drawn to Spiritual Formation, Spiritual Direction, and helping others become aware of the active presence of the Trinity in everyday life. I’m a trained Spiritual Director who believes that God not only loves us—but genuinely likes us. My passion is to create a safe and welcoming space. Here curiosity, doubt, and competing desires can be held, leaning into a disposition of consent for Jesus to continue a wholesome flourishing in us.

I’ve completed training in Being a Non-Anxious Presence (also known as Managing Leadership Anxiety), which has equipped me to walk alongside leaders and communities seeking calm, grounded, and spiritually healthy ways of living and leading.

I live in the seaside city of White Rock with my wife, Jodie. Together we have five children (six if you count the dog), and we love snowboarding, camping in the Okanagan, reading, adventures and exploring local coffee shops in search of the best espresso.
