Spiritual direction is a practice where a trained companion helps you listen for God’s presence in your life, deepen your relationship with Christ, and respond to divine invitations with honesty and grace.

It involves prayerful conversation, attentive listening, and mutual discernment, supporting you in recognizing the sacred within everyday experiences, navigating challenges, and growing in love, service, and spiritual maturity.

Often spiritual direction looks like the director helping the directee notice the 'bread crumbs' to God's movements and grace. The Trinity is at work already--are we noticing the movement?

When we meet together in person or over media, I try to bring myself fully to the meeting that I can hear you deeply while paying attention to the work of the Holy Spirit in you.  

As a directee you will bring concerns, desires, doubts, or celebrations.  We will seek to notice God's grace of movement in you and for you.

In our time together you will experience a safe place to explore. This may include silence, meditation on a Psalm, using sacred art or Lectio among other graces, to cultivate the ground of our hearts to better our dispostion to notice the graces of God.

Both options are available! I offer personal meetings but remote direction options work great too! With video calls, we are able to set aside time and create a sacred space to let God impress upon you that the Trinity not only loves you but also likes you! All you need is a private space to log on so that you can be unhindered when you seek silence or try to practise different rhythms of grace.

Spiritual Direction meetings usually last about 60 minutes. Often the relationship is ongoing on a monthly  or biweekly basis. I would encourage all directees to meet for a minimum of once a month for 6 months in order to get the feel of sinking into God's graces with the help of a soul friend.

Yes. I hold a degree in Bible and a Master’s in Leadership & Training, along with a certificate in Spiritual Formation and Spiritual Direction through Soul Formation. My formation journey began with Next Frontiers and mentors like Gary and Regina Moon, Trevor Hudson, and Mimi Dixon, and has been deeply influenced by Ignatius, Dallas Willard, M. Robert Mulholland Jr., Eugene Peterson and Henri Nouwen.

In addition, I’m an ordained pastor with the Evangelical Free Church of Canada, and I continue to grow through regular spiritual direction, supervision, ongoing training, and by reading and practising spiritual rhythms with others who love the same.
